As trusted community institutions serving underrepresented populations, health centers play a vital role in community empowerment. Registering patients to vote and encouraging them to go to the polls is yet another way health centers can help to empower members of their communities.

PLEASE NOTE: The requirement to show a photo ID for voting and other associated laws has been struck down by a Federal court. Photo ID is not required to vote.
